If you are new to the Colorado area you may not be familiar with Castle Rock! Castle Rock, is a suburb of the Denver Metro Area located roughly 30 minutes south of Denver. I live in Parker, Colorado, so I am not always wanting to go to Denver! And with Parker and Castle Rock growing at such a fast pace! I don’t really have to go into Denver unless I am in the mood of course!

So what is there to do in Castle Rock? For Starters EAT!

The yHave one of my favorite restaurants ever! La Loma is an amazing Mexican restaurant with beautiful views! If you try it out you must try the Steak Fajitas they are my favorite! If you try it you have to let me know!

Shop? If you love Shopping Castle Rock is a great place! They have a great outlet mall, but my favorite way to shop is local and they have two places that I just love the first being:

The Barn– The barn is located downtown Castle Rock and it is so cute! I could spend hours in there. In The Barn you will find several local Colorado shops all under one roof, from antiques, baby clothes, clothes, and home decor! If you love finding those random fun things like the Betty Boop Collectors Edtion Monnoply Game I just bought The Barn is a great place for that too!

My second favorite place that is very similar to the Barn is The Emporium! You will find many specialty shops with so many fun things all under one roof.

While you are shopping downtown Castle Rock, you might as well take a stroll through downtown where they have several great shops, and restaurants, and the best-fried Chicken! If you want some phenomenal fried Chicken you must check out Castle Rock Cafe! Let’s not forget dessert! You will find plenty of little cute spots to satisfy your sweet tooth. My favorite is The Cake Company they have the best cupcakes!

Since we are talking about all that food you will probably want to work it off! Guess what Castle Rock has two amazing places for that too! My favorite is The Castle Rock Incline which consists of 200 stairs straight up! It’s a great workout out especially if you can do it multiple times.

Lastly, you cant forget what Castle Rock is known for and that is Rock Park it’s a great little hike where you can hike up to The Rock! Hence the name of the city!

So… I don’t like to keep my posts too long or you will lose interest and not read them! So TA TA for now.
